Our Family Legacy

Hi-Tech Electric is proud to be a family-owned and operated business, rooted in three generations of electrical expertise dating back to the 1950s. Though Hi-Tech Electric was officially founded in 2014, our team brings over 40 years of hands-on experience to every project, and we remain deeply committed to our community as a locally owned company.


Our legacy began with my father, who became an electrician while serving in the United States Air Force during the 1950s. After his service, he returned to Twin Falls, Idaho, where he pursued his passion for electrical work in both residential and commercial settings. Eventually, he founded our first family business — Metcalf Electric. He took great pride in watching his sons follow in his footsteps and carry on the craft.


Today, that legacy continues at Hi-Tech Electric. I now have the privilege of watching my own son, Corbin, grow into a skilled electrician and an exceptional leader.
